ACT Government commits $100,000 for the Giralang Community Park

06 June 2017

It is fantastic to hear the ACT Government has committed $100,000 to the design and delivery of a park for the Giralang community in today’s ACT Budget.

Thanks to more than 150 petition signatures, we will be able to create a quality public space for the entire Giralang community.

Over the coming months I will be running a community engagement process to speak with Giralang residents and community groups about what they want to see in the design of the park.

I look forward to hearing everyone's ideas and working together to deliver the Giralang Community Park.

My next stall in Giralang will be Wednesday 28 June, 2:30pm-3:30pm outside Giralang Primary School.

If you can’t make it to the stall there are still a number of ways you can have your say. My team of volunteers and I will be out doorknocking the suburb and there will be a survey on this website in the next few weeks.  You are also welcome to email or call my Legislative Assembly office.
